  • Books

   This collection includes books of all types from westerns, mysteries, romance, science fiction, fantasy, non-fiction, bestsellers etc. We also have good selection of Large Print books in fiction and non-fiction.

   We can borrow (Interlibrary Loan) almost any book that isn’t in our collection from another library.  There is no charge for this service but we gladly accept your donation to help with any postage. Books may be checked out for four weeks. Renewals may be made over the phone or online.

  • Videos

   We have over 340 titles in VHS and DVD formats. We carry both adult and children’s selections. We are also a part of the Silver Valley Circuit which rotates over 300 titles in VHS and DVD format throughout the Silver Valley.  We carry about 60 titles that change every two months. Videos and DVDs may be checked out for two days.

  • Audiobooks

   We have audiobooks in both CD and Cassette formats and in both adult and children selections. Our children’s selections usually consist of a cassette and a book. We are also a part of the Silver Valley Circuit which rotates over 300 titles in CD and Cassette format throughout the Silver Valley.  We carry about 60 titles that change every two months. Audiobooks maybe checked out for 4 weeks.

   We also have over 2000 e-Audiobook titles, both children and adult selections, available from Net Library through funding from LiLI.  There are 30 new titles added monthly. First time users can access Net Library through LiLI.  Established users may access Net Library directly.

  • Music 

   We have 62 music CD’s in our collection.  They range from classical to heavy metal. They may be checked out for one week.

  • Computers

   We are connected to the internet and have four computers for patrons.  If a patron is unfamiliar with the computers, we will be happy to lend a hand.  

  •  Lili-D

   The library belongs to Lili-D which provides full-text articles from magazines, professional journals, newspapers, and reference books free to all Idaho residents.. Ask us about it or check it out at http://www.lili.org/.

  • Newspaper

   We have Shoshone News Press and keep 6 month's of back issues in the library.

  • Magazines

   We subscribe to several magazines and have five years of back issues. Stop in to see if we have your favorite or check our online catalog.

  • Idaho History Collection

   We have a collection of Idaho and Local History books, some of which may be checked out and others are for reference use only. Check with the librarian. 

  • Tax Forms

  We provide both federal and state income tax forms.
